The medication prescribed did not work. I needed a different antibiotic after coming home from Mexico to be properly treated. The medication I was prescribed is now discontinued in the US because there are many better options. The doctor I saw at home hadn’t even heard of it. I was told by this doctor that this medication is a strong antibiotic and should definitely work within one day. While I appreciate being given the opportunity to have a quick appointment to seek treatment, this ended up being a waste of my time and money. Anyone using this service, make sure to specify exactly what medication you need since there can be differences in what is typically prescribed in a different country.

The consultation was short and that would’ve been fine if it wasn’t for the fact that he didn’t explain what was wrong. He only sent a prescription via email. He sent a prescription that was not accepted by any of the local pharmacies (not even printed) making the appointment worthless. I tried contacting him back to see if he could send one with a stamp the pharmacies were requiring but he never responded.
